Protecting animals. Supporting alternatives. Advancing science.
NEAVS (The New England Anti-Vivisection Society) is a national animal advocacy organization, whose mission is to end the use of animals in research, testing and science education and replace it with scientifically superior and humane non-animal alternatives.
NEAVS advocates for all animals in laboratories and classrooms through education, public outreach, legislation, policy change, and legal action.
1895 Founding Mission: “to expose and oppose secret or painful experiments upon living animals, lunatics, paupers or criminals.”
