Action Alert!
This ad, paid for by Anitgone Lankin Stallings, was created for
use in Playbill and other theatre program books. It is a line drawing
of a large, mixed breed dog, curled up and resting his head on his
front legs. Above his head is the definition of a dog as if from
a dictionary.
It reads: "dog, n. 1. A companion animal often
used in painful biomedical experiments. 2. Also likely to be a part
of student practice surgeries. See also "Man's
best friend."
