Contact Sen. Herbert Kohl (D-WI), Chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture (202-224-5653) and urge him to block all efforts to deny coverage under the AWA for birds, mice and rats.

Then, contact your U.S. Senator through the Senate switchboard (202-224-3121) and your U.S. Representative through the House switchboard (202-225-3121) TODAY and respectfully urge them to vote NO on any amendment that would deny birds, rats and mice protection under the AWA and to ensure that the USDA begin the rulemaking process that will bring birds, mice and rats under the protection of the AWA.
