ACTION ALERT! Help Baboons in Kenya!
Every year hundreds of baboons - sentient and
intelligent beings - are wild-caught in Kenya and exported to biomedical
"research" facilities, routinely kept in wretched conditions, and
used in cruel and senseless experimentation.
Contact Mr. Nehemiah Rotich, Director of
the Kenya Wildlife Service, and express deep concern that the baboons
of Kenya are suffering and dying for flawed and senseless "science"
and the greed of the biomedical research industry of other nations.
Ask the Director to set a positive example for all of Africa by
completely banning the export of baboons from Kenya. Kenya does
and should take pride in its nation's heritage of magnificent wildlife.
Urge Mr. Rotich to make every effort to
protect all species of animals and keep them free and wild and at
home.
