Needed to Ban
Primate Exports in Tanzania!
Your cards,
letters and emails to officials in Kenya are helping end the
exploitation and export of baboons in this country known for
its majestic wildlife.
In a related
event, the Tanzanian government, prompted by the vigilance
of animal rights activists from around the world, is launching
an investigation into the primate trade in its country.
Please write
the Tanzania Embassy in the U.S. and the Tanzania Wildlife
Division and ask for an immediate and permanent ban on the
capture and export of primates - including baboons, vervets
and patas monkeys - in Tanzania.
These intelligent
and social beings do not deserve the cruel fate of being torn
from their families and sold to "research" facilities
in the U.S. and abroad for inhumane, unsound, senseless experimentation.
