Title

(Fall 2001)Students at The American Academy in Tbilisi in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia are beginning their biology studies this month using computers, not preserved specimens, thanks to the Ethical Science and Education Coalition’s donation of Digital Frog2 CD-ROMs.

This American style high school, developed by The Foundation of the American Academy, in conjunction with the Georgian Association, is a private coeducational four-year high school for 200 Georgian students patterned after the best of American secondary education.

Academy Director Don Thomas emailed us that the students are looking forward to using the materials that were donated by NEAVS’ educational affiliate. He promises to keep us posted on the students’ progress.
