(Fall 2001) We are gathering donated items for a gala
fundraiser, “The NEAVS Art, Heirlooms and Antiques Auction.”
Many thanks go to Dr. Beverly Rockhill who has already donated
a beautiful set of Lenox china and to Dr. Carol Ginandes who
has donated a fine arts photograph to this upcoming very special
event.
If you have art, an heirloom or antique you would like to donate
to raise money to advocate for animals in laboratories, please contact
our Director of Development and Donor Services, (617) 523-6020.

NEAVS Participates in Combined
Federal Campaign
(Fall 2001) NEAVS Participates in Combined Federal
Campaign “We’re Here … because their lives depend on us.”
This slogan – along with a touching photo of a young girl
and bunny (above) – will again appear in a NEAVS ad in the
U.S. government’s Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).
The CFC materials will reach the homes of thousands of federal
employees, alerting them to give their support to our important
mission.

Thanks to Donors, NEAVS is on A Roll
(Fall 2001)Thanks to the generosity of NEAVS supporters
James H. and Nancy Luick Bryan, NEAVS will be rolling to animal
rights events in safety, comfort, and high visi- bility. We
are most thankful to the Bryans for their donation of a Chrysler
Town and Country van to help in our public outreach efforts.
Thanks also go to Harvey Sign, Inc., in Methuen, MA for most
graciously donating exterior signage of the NEAVS logo and
logotype on the van. If you visit Mr. Harvey’s shop, please
be sure to thank him. Look for photos of the NEAVS van in
our newsletter – or watch for us “on the road.”

Recognition for the Uncounted
(Fall 2001) Be sure to visit the Great Ape Project’s
(GAP) Web site, www.greatapeproject.org,
and contribute any information you can provide on great apes

in the U.S. in labs, zoos, roadside “entertainment,” etc.
All information sources will be kept strictly confidential.
As of January 2001, the GAP census enumerates at least 1,200
