Celebrating a young life of compassion

(Winter 2001)— NEAVS/ESEC is mourning the loss of and celebrating the life of budding animal activist Raleigh Fox Goldberg. Even at her young age, Raleigh Fox was a compassionate, engaging member of the animal advocacy community, known for her high spirits, kind heart, and passion for animals and the natural wonders of life.

Her death resulted from a tragic volcano eruption while she was visiting a rain forest in Costa Rica.

In recognition of Raleigh's kindness and compassion, NEAVS/ESEC donated a Digital Frog2 virtual reality, 3-D computer program to her school.

NEAVS/ESEC will continue to work with Sam Goldberg, Raleigh Fox's father, to help continue her all-too-short legacy.
