NEAVS President Named to LPAG Advisory Board

(Winter 2002) — Theodora Capaldo, EdD, NEAVS President, joins 10 distinguished individuals, including Dr. Jane Goodall and Dr. Roger Fouts, on the LPAG Advisory Board. In announcing the Advisory Board appointments, LPAG co-founders Rachel Weiss and Jessica Ganas said, "We have asked you to join us because of what you’ve done and what you’re doing now on behalf of monkeys and chimpanzees in labs. About half of you have worked in laboratories, with primates and other species, in positions other than ‘care-tech’ or ‘research-tech;’ those of you who haven’t been in labs have great empathy and speak forcefully on behalf of our friends. We are so proud that you have all agreed to help us in our endeavors."

To find out more about LPAG, visit www.lpag.org or contact NEAVS and request our WWAIL 2001 information.
